Iran submits new nuclear proposal to P5+1

Iran package delivered

According to media reports, Iran has submitted a new proposal offering a package of incentives for resolving the nuclear issue with Western governments.

More analysis will be available soon, but from initial reports it looks like Iran’s decision was intended to satisfy the mid-September deadline for responding to an offer for talks that the US Congress and other Western governments have imposed.
