Congress: They’re watching what you’re doing.
21 July 2009 Posted By Sanaz Tofighrad
U.S. Senators Evan Bayh (D-IN), Jon Kyl (R-AZ), Joe Lieberman (ID-CT), and John McCain (R-AZ) introduced an amendment today to the Defense Authorization Act urging tough new sanctions on Iran if the government does not take concrete steps to abandon its nuclear program this fall.
Hours after this amendment was introduced, the hardline state-run Kayhan Newspaper reported on the story:
“The senators had postponed the discussion of sanctions because of the elections in Iran and also the recent unrest, but they have revealed their enmity again now that they have lost hope of overthrowing [Iran’s regime].”

Do you honestly think that when this barbaric regime will get it’s hands on nukes, it will not begin nuking whole city-loads of kaffirs and protesters, in the name of God, if seriously threatened? Remember, they believe in the return of the Mahdi after an apocalyse…
Lieberman probably has to keep reminding McCain the amendment is directed at Iran, not Iraq. McCain has repeatedly demonstrated that can’t tell the two nations apart, let alone introduce a bill on this topic.
