Grand Ayatollah Saanei & Seyyed Hassan Khomeini to invite people to Quds Day rally
16 September 2009 Posted By Matthew Negreanu
Grand Ayatollah Saanei issued a statement inviting people to participate in demonstrations this Friday, Quds Day. Ayatollah Saanei stressed that the Quds Day is an international day for the innocent to protest against oppressors, and emphasized that by active participation in Friday’s rallies, people will be able to express their strong resistance against any kind of oppression and tyranny while showing their support for all the innocent and oppressed people anywhere in the world.
Meanwhile, Seyyed Hassan Khomeini, Ayatollah Khomeini’s grandson, also issued a statement to invite everyone to attend the Quds Day rally in the last Friday of Ramadan. Khomeini invoked his grandfather’s declaration that Quds Day is intended to honor the oppressed who fight their oppressors and tyranny all over the world. Seyyed Hassan Khoemini has been criticized harshly by the hardliner media, specifically Kayhan, for his support of the reformist camp, accusing him of colluding with the reformist leaders and activists.

I would be honored to visit Iran and to visit the Shrin of the late Imam Khomeini. I understand that Imam Khomeini’s grandson Seyyed Hassan Khomeini is the administrator of this Shrine and would like to know what I should do to be able to visit and also how can I get some of Imam Khomeini’s published works.
It is interesting that you like to visit Iran and holy shrines there which are many many. I would like to know which aspect of the holy shrines and Ayatollah Khomeini’s life is interesting/important for you.
